Well it’s hard to believe that it’s 2005. I hope that 2004 has been a happy and prosperous year. I would just like to say a BIG thanks for all the support that you have provided us over the last year.
First things first, the BIG change for Hyperformance Hardware is we are now based in sunny Nelson, instead of sunny Grey Lynn. Expect everything to remain the same other than the fact I won’t be popping into the Auckland dealer daily. Our new postal address is
P.O. Box 477, Nelson and our physical address is 22 Tamaki St, Tahunanui, Nelson.
The 05 season will be an exciting season for the Hyperformance Hardware, I personally will be racing the nationals with a team of Santa Cruz riders. We’ve already had some great results with Anika Smail and Amanda Gordon getting 1st and 2nd overall placing, respectively in Auckland series. Josh Barley has finished the Tour Vineyards with a 13th placing, not bad for his first ever A grade road tour, defiantly the quickest Santa Cruz Roadster in the country. He also won the Tour de Peak, a mountain bike race in Wellington. I will also have to mention Cathy Hamer for some strong results in both the Tour de Femme and Tour de Vineyards, a nice build up for the mtb nationals.
Expect to see a Santa Cruz rider at a Nationals mountain bike event near you.
New stuff from Santa Cruz: two new bikes in their range, the Blur 4X and Jackal. There has been quite a bit of interest with Blur 4X and I expect this bike to be very popular. The Jackal has to be seen to be believed, it’s a very stylish DJ bike that will have all your customers drooling. Get your pre-orders in NOW, so you can be the kid with new toys first!
I’m also very excited to announce that Hyperformance Hardware is the agents of tune products. Tune are the makers of very high end, light weight mountain bike and road componentry. Currently in stock are hubs and quick release’s, these are perfect for building up those extremely light cross country wheel sets. Check out http://www.tune.de/ for more details.
I look forward to catching up with you soon and if you’re in Nelson, drop in for a coffee.
